Survey indicates lack of struck-by training in construction
During a recent survey conducted by the Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR), about 4 out of 5 respondents said their organization needs training on identifying and preventing struck-by hazards. The survey results also indicated three primary barriers to preventing struck-by injuries, which included a lack of understanding how to address hazards, scheduling pressure and a lack of training in hazard identification and prevention.
