Jeanette Ward receives the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s 2023 Southeast Philanthropic Leadership Award

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Southeast Division recognized Jeanette Ward, Texas Mutual president and CEO, with the 2023 Philanthropic Leadership Award at its 11th annual gala on February 23. This award recognizes industry leaders for their commitment to making an impact in their communities, supporting charitable giving and promoting volunteerism within their companies.

The IICF’s annual gala in Dallas brings together insurance professionals and community leaders to celebrate the industry’s philanthropic efforts. This year, the IICF raised over $1 million during its gala in support of Texas nonprofits.

Whether she’s mentoring young professionals, advocating for early childhood education or volunteering with our nonprofit partners, Jeanette embodies the company’s passion for corporate citizenship. Her recent work with nonprofits includes participating as a member of the steering committee for Early Matters Greater Austin, serving on the risk management advisory board at the Greehey School of Business at St. Mary’s University, mentoring young women pursuing insurance careers and championing philanthropic efforts as board liaison for the IICF Southeast Division’s board.
