ASSP signed a memorandum of understanding with the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association (VPPPA) last week. The 18-month agreement will focus on advancing workplace safety and health, with an emphasis on modernizing the VPP.

OSHA is requesting input regarding a standard for preventing workplace violence in the health care and social assistance industries. Specifically, the agency is seeking feedback on a report from the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act panel. Comments are due by July 3.
