OSHA is hosting a webinar during Women in Construction Week on the best practices for women’s safety while working on federal construction projects. Various topics will be discussed, including best practices for retaining women on construction projects, chemical hazards to fetal and reproductive health and more. This free webinar takes place on March 5.

OSHA holds its first Workers Memorial Expo

This year will mark the first Workers Memorial Expo in Washington, D.C., which gives attendees the opportunity to discuss the importance of workplace safety while meeting with various agencies and the families of employees who lost their lives from a workplace injury or illness. This event occurs during a week-long recognition of Workers Memorial Day, which consists of several other virtual events. The expo is scheduled for April 24.

2024 Safe-in-Sound award winners recognized

NIOSH recently recognized winners of the 2024 Safe-in-Sound Awards, which are intended to promote good hearing loss prevention practices. The winners were selected for their commitment to finding solutions to noise and communication challenges and utilizing evidence-based program advancements and data-driven approaches.

EHS webinar on safety leadership and the laws of physics
