NIOSH aims to change mindsets about work-related hearing risks

A recent NIOSH Science Blog article addresses misinformation about work-related hearing loss. The blog article dispels myths such as noise being the only workplace hazard that can cause hearing loss. After each myth, a fact is given to disprove it along with related safety tips. NIOSH published this piece to improve hearing outcomes for employees and to support the theme of this year’s World Hearing Day on March 3.

Women in Construction Week 2024 celebrates the strength of women

Next week is the 26th annual Women in Construction Week, which celebrates the contributions of women in the construction industry. This year’s theme is Keys to the Future and focuses on the strength and knowledge of women and their necessary role in building the future of construction. Virtual events begin with a kickoff on March 3 and end with a call-to-action meeting on March 9.

Technology and a focus on the individual advance safety training
