Stepping up for healthy living

At Texas Mutual, we've seen firsthand how healthier employees are safer and more productive at work. That's why we're proud to support our longstanding partner, the American Heart Association (AHA), to further their mission of helping people live healthier lives. Through our annual companywide Heart Walk campaign this year, we raised $42,095 to support the AHA’s life-saving work and joined them in celebrating 100 years of building healthier communities.

Our employees found several creative ways to show their support for the AHA, including a heart-themed game of Jeopardy, photo contest, pie challenge and t-shirt fundraiser. Thanks to the giving spirit of our employees, we were recognized as a top fundraising company for helping the AHA further their research and advocate for healthier communities and improved patient care.

Texas Mutual employees across the state came together to celebrate our fundraising efforts and support the AHA during Heart Walks in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Along with their friends and families, employees stepped together with their neighbors in the spirit of healthy living.

Our partnership with the AHA is more than just an annual campaign. It’s a year-round commitment to building a stronger, safer and healthier Texas. We share in their life-saving mission, and together we’re working to make that vision a reality.
