In 2024, Texas Mutual awarded over $2 million in safety grants to assist eligible policyholders in purchasing safety equipment.

Our safety grants are reevaluated on an annual basis and are not guaranteed each year. We encourage you to sign up for our policyholder newsletter to stay informed of program updates.
Funds may be used for ergonomic, safety, disease and illness prevention and industrial hygiene equipment to reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses.
The grant may not be used toward salaries, wages, internal labor, the cost of preparing the application or equipment or materials needed to perform a job.
When applications are open, policyholders will be directed to log in to their TMO account to access the application. In the application, you will be asked to share:
Your application will be sent to Texas Mutual’s review committee. You will receive an email informing you of acceptance or denial within four weeks of submission.
Current policyholders in good standing are eligible to apply. Policyholders must have a Texas Mutual Online (TMO) account. (Don’t have one? Create one now.)

Yes, you can apply for a grant on behalf of multiple businesses, but you will need to use a separate TMO account(s) to do so. Only one grant application is permitted for each unique email address and TMO account. Once an application is started, it must be completed under the same email address.
